Cisco Webex Calling integration with MS Teams allows you to access calls and voicemail from your MS Teams application This user guide focuses on basic navigation, settings, and voicemail.

Log into Webex (first time only)

To start using the Cisco Call, you need to sign in to your Webex account first as a one-time activity. If the Webex App isn’t visible on your desktop, your admin has likely hidden it to enhance the experience. In this case, you need to search for the Webex App initially to open it.

1. Open the Webex App, sign in to your Webex account, and then close the app.

2. Once signed in, you're ready to start using the Cisco Call integration in Microsoft Teams.

MS Teams – Cisco Call

You can now open your MS Teams and access Cisco Call.

1. Click Cisco Call , and then click Continue if you’re using the same Microsoft Teams account for Webex.

  • If you're using a different account for Webex, then click Use a different account and sign in with your Webex email address and password.

2. After signing in, you can find all the calling features under Cisco Call option.

Navigation

To access Cisco calling inside of Teams, utilize the Cisco Call icon on the left side pane.

Call Settings

Access and update your call settings directly from MS teams.

1. Click Cisco Call

2. Click Call Settings

  • The Webex settings window will open.

3. Choose the Calling option and General

Call Forward

If you are going to be away, you can forward your calls to another number or to voicemail.

1. Under Call Settings

2. Choose Call Forward

3. Click the + to add a number or choose the voicemail option

Settings - Notifications

You can mute notifications for incoming Cisco calls when you are in a Microsoft Teams meeting or call. You can also set up to decline the calls automatically. Any unattended calls are listed as missed calls under Recent Calls.

1. Click Cisco Call

2. Click Call Settings

3. Choose Notifications – Calls

4. Under Direct calls, choose only mute notifications when in a meeting or on a call. 

  • If you want to decline the call, select Automatically decline incoming calls 5. Click Save.

5. Click Save.

To change ringtones:

1. Select the applicable phone line

2. Use the drop down to view ringtone options

To mute notifications when you’re in either a Microsoft Teams call or meeting, or a Cisco call or meeting, your administrator must enable the Optimize Webex App for Microsoft Teams experience option in the Control Hub.

To set a quiet hours schedule to regularly mute notifications.

1. Select Notification

2. Adjust Quiet Hours to On

3. Create Schedule for Quiet Hours

4. Click Save

RedSky (need to verify set up)

RedSky E911 allows emergency responders to better pinpoint your personal location in the event of a personal emergency.

1. Launch the application after installation. Enter your corporate email address.

2. Click Send.

3. Check your email for a one-time verification code. Enter the code and click Verify.

3. Use the search field under Let’s find you to enter your address.

4. Click on your address once located.

5. Click Add Location and Set as Current.

6. Enter a name for your location.

7. Click Add and Set as Current Location.

8. A window will pop-up confirming the location has been added. Click Close.

The banner on the My Location page will be green. It will display your location details.

Locations must be added when working from a different address.

1. Click Add Location and Set as Current.

2. Follow the same process as adding original location.

To Manage Locations

1. Click the Manage Locations tab

  • You can, view a list of configured locations, edit locations, or delete locations.
