With the recent transition to a new licensing model, some SnapGene users may encounter issues when attempting to sign into their accounts. To resolve these sign-in problems, users are advised to follow a streamlined password reset process:
- Go to SnapGene's website: https://www.snapgene.com/
- Click the "Sign In" button located in the top right corner.
- Enter your registered email address associated with your SnapGene account and click "Continue".
- When prompted for a password, select the “Sign in with one-time code” option (the second choice on the screen).

This method bypasses traditional password entry and allows users to authenticate securely using a temporary code sent to their email. It’s a quick and effective workaround for login difficulties during the licensing update period.
