Create a Voicemail PIN:
Log into the voicemail portal with your university SSO ID and Password. Use Chrome or FireFox for your browser. You can also access the voicemail portal by going to our portal: https://doit.missouri.edu/departments/unified-communications/ and navigating to the voicemail button.
1. Click on Messaging Assistant.
2. At the top of the screen, select Passwords, then Change PIN. Passwords must be at least 8 digits long, and cannot:
- Match the numeric representation of the first or last name of the user.
- Contain the primary extension or alternate extensions of the user.
- Contain the reverse of the primary extension or alternate extensions of the user.
- Contain groups of repeated digits, as in 408408 or 123123.
- Contain only two different digits, as in 121212.
- Be used more than two times consecutively, as in 28883.
- Be an ascending or descending group of digits, as in 012345 or 987654.
3. Enter a new PIN.
4. Enter PIN again to confirm.
Set Up Voicemail Greeting:
If calling from your Cisco IP Phone, press the Voicemail button (looks like a cassette tape) and then skip to Step 3.
If calling from a different phone, dial (573) 884-3111.
- When the system answers, press the star (*) key.
- Enter your 10-digit university phone number, followed by the pound (#) key.
- Enter the PIN you established above, followed by the pound (#) key.
- Respond to the instructions as prompted.
The system will tell you when the set-up process is complete. If you hang up before you have completed the set-up process, the first-time enrollment will play again the next time you sign in.
